Since I cannot make sound judgments about anything, including thinking like this, when I know too little, I once set aside all my values and likes and dislikes, and kept closing my eyes, buying random books from the shelves of every field in a bookstore, and absorbing them.

If I get through today, it’s a three-day weekend, but if I skip today, it’s a four-day weekend! #No

Perhaps effort isn’t simply running as hard as you can. Perhaps it’s using your head, through trial and error, to find a way to succeed.

C is easy, but machine code is even easier. That’s because it’s made of only “0” and “1.” That means that if you just arrange “0”s and “1”s at random, anyone with a bit of luck can build their own OS.

A standard score (a number showing where you stand compared with everyone else) is relative, so if you erase the excellent test-takers one by one, your standard score will go up.
